Modern factory Engine Control Units (ECU) come equipped with engine immobiliser functions in order to deter theft of the vehicle. These immobiliser functions have to be defeated in order to successfully transplant a modern engine into another automobile. The only choices available until now were to either use costly aftermarket management systems or to install the donor vehicle's instrument cluster and associated immobiliser components.

The Revo Immobiliser defeat service allows the use of the stock ECU without the added cost and complexity that is normally involved in such an engine transplant or conversion. This service is only available in conjunction with the Revo software upgrade and the ECU will need to be sent to your regional Revo headquarters through your local revo dealer or mailed directly.

The cost of the immobiliser defeat code is an additional charge on top of the relevent revo software upgrade cost for the given ECU.
